Access To Jobs


Access To Jobs is an employment service for persons with disabilities, funded by the Department of Education’s Projects with Industry program.  This service provides employers with qualified applicants for their job openings and it provides persons with disabilities individualized employment preparation and job placement assistance. 

For Employers
This service provides employers access to pre-qualified job applicants with a wide variety of skills and experience.  We have applicants who are entry level and highly experienced in a wide variety of fields such as:

  • Retail
  • Admin/Clerical
  • Hospitality
  • Food Service
  • Technical
  • Manufacturing
  • Legal
  • Finance
  • Our employment specialists ensure that you will receive only job ready applicants who have the specific skills you require.   When you hire an applicant from TransAccess, we remain involved with you and the applicant to ensure success.

    For Applicants
    If you have a disability and are looking for a job, we can help!  Access to Jobs provides individualized service to help you prepare for a job search that will meet your employment goals, in any field or interest.

    We help with:

  • Resume Writing
  • Interviewing
  • Vocational assessment
  • Assistive Technology and Ergonomic Accommodations
  • Employment Referrals and job placement
  • Office Skills Training
  • Access to mentor support
  • All applicants must have a verifiable disability, which can be any physical, sensory (such as blind, low vision, deaf or hard of hearing), psychiatric or emotional, learning, medical, cognitive or permanent work related injury.

    You also must:

    • Be able to provide at least two reference (work or personal or volunteer)
    • Be able to work at least part time (20 or more hours per week)
    • Be ready to start work immediately
    • Be able to work independently (we do not provide coaching)
